An 11 year old Wicklow girl, Tara, has organised a fundraiser for the Irish Cancer Society and she is hoping that the community will come out and support the charity. Tara says that she decided to organise an event to raise some money for the cancer charity as her granny and a friend have recently recovered from cancer.
As our one and two cent counts will be obsolete soon, Tara is asking people to put them to good use. Bring all of your change with you to the Parochial Hall opposite St Patrick’s Church, Greystones this Sunday between 11am and 2pm. Enjoy cakes, buns, biscuits, pies, sandwiches and bracelets made and donated by Tara and her friends. You can find some of the prices below and remember – every cent makes a difference!
