Aldi seeking to recruit 20 positions in counties
Wicklow and Wexford
 
Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Store Assistant and Stock Assistant positions available

Aldi Ireland today announced it is seeking to recruit up to 20 new employees across its stores in counties Wicklow and Wexford. In store opportunities are now available for Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Store Assistant and
Stock Assistant positions. Aldi has invested significantly in its Irish operations and store network in recent years and now operates 126 Irish stores, including 11 across counties Wicklow and Wexford.
 
As it continues to expand its Irish store network, Aldi is engaged in a nationwide recruitment drive.  It is filling more than 400 positions across the country, including 20 in the local region.
 
Personnel Development Director Brian O’Shea commented; “As part of our national recruitment drive we now have up to 20 positions available across our stores in counties Wicklow and Wexford. We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join the Aldi team and contribute to our continued success in Ireland.  We need great people to join our business to help us in continuing to deliver the highest level of customer service that our customers have come to expect.”
 
Aldi currently employs over 3,000 people in Ireland, offering attractive pay scales and benefits for challenging and rewarding work.  It also offers an extensive benefits package to employees.

Aldi introduced the ‘Living Wage’ on February 1st this year for all entry level positions, with Store Assistant employees able to earn up to €13.80 per hour.
 
Successful Store Manager candidates will avail of a starting annual salary of €55,000, rising to €80,000 over four years for a five day 45-hour week.  They will also receive five weeks’ paid holidays, private health insurance upon commencement and membership of a company pension scheme after three years.  Positions as Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Store Assistant and Stock Assistant positions all offer opportunities for progression.
